ArtsAVL Announces Arts Build Community Grant Awardees

Ten Buncombe County organizations have been awarded Arts Build Community (ABC) grants from ArtsAVL. This year’s grants, which typically range from $1,000 to $2,500, will support programs and initiatives in areas including music, theatre, craft, Black history, arts education, regional culture, cooperative farming, and more.

ArtsAVL is celebrating the 24 recipients of the 2022-23 regional Artist Support Grant, 15 of whom live and work in Buncombe County. Awardees work in a variety of art forms and mediums within the larger categories of craft, literature, media, music and theatre, and visual arts.
