Welcome, arts partners! We want to support you by directing visitors and locals to re-engage with your business and the arts throughout Buncombe County.
What is Redefine The Weekend? Redefine The Weekend is a year-long marketing campaign created by ArtsAVL to re-engage visitors and locals with Buncombe County’s arts scene. This full 360-campaign includes advertising online and out of home, with billboards, broadcast commercials, social media, email, digital & print ads, signage, a new print Arts Guide, and more…all to increase attention and foot traffic for the arts in our region, with four core areas of focus: Downtown Asheville, River Arts District, Weaverville and Black Mountain.

YOUR PROMO TOOLKIT
Your Redefine The Weekend Promotional Toolkit has two parts: one digital and one physical. Follow the steps below to get involved! Download the digital assets on this page and use them in your website, email and social media content. Request a physical toolkit (folder) to be delivered to you, along with copies of the new Arts Guide which you can place in your studio or business. They are FREE. The physical toolkit is a handy folder with some fun pieces inside like a window cling and stickers you can display!
STEP 1
Complete Your Free Directory Listing
Make sure you’re findable! Create or update your free directory profile with photos, descriptions, and links. Consider upgrading to Membership for extra perks.
Arts Guide Advertisers! You automatically receive a 1-year FREE membership which includes a directory listing! Fill it out online.
STEP 2
Use the Print Materials in Your Space
Display your window decal to show you’re part of the movement. Place copies of the Arts Guide in your studio, store, or venue to hand out to visitors. Need to restock? Fill out this form.
Handy Tip: Your window decal is a non-adhesive, static cling decal, meaning it’s easy to apply and remove!

Download the Digital Toolkit
This Google Drive has branded graphics, logos, and templates for:

Submit Your Events to ArtsAVL
Let us help you get the word out.
Submit events via the online form in the Creative Portal of your membership. Need a refresher? Here’s our User Guide.
We feature events in our “The Weekend” Friday newsletter, across our social media, and in calendar roundups.
We offer FREE delivery of ArtsAVL Arts Guides to your business or organization!
Deliveries are made weekly, and you can select the quantity you need in the form. Whether you’re requesting your first delivery or need to restock, click below.

How to Be Listed In The Guide: We plan to update and print this guide semiannually. Want to be in a future printing? The listings in this Guide are paid listings. Each paid listing includes a map marker in the Guide, a listing in the Guide, and 1-year membership with ArtsAVL. We will reach out to all potential arts partners with details and rates before the next printing so you can secure your spot. Fill out this form to make sure you’re notified!
