SmART PASS
With a SmART Pass, arts enthusiasts and supporters can enjoy unique discounts at some of your favorite local artists and arts organizations, while supporting the local arts community. SmART Passholders also receive a login to the CREATIVE PORTAL, but do not have a directory profile or the ability to add events or opportunities. Proceeds from the SmART Pass support ArtsAVL’s arts in schools program.

How It works
Once you subscribe, SmART Passholders receive a special login to the ArtsAVL’s CREATIVE PORTAL site. Once logged in, you will be able to you your virtual SmART Pass card either on your computer, tablet, or mobile device. Not comfortable with a digital card? No problem! Printed membership cards are also available upon request. From your account you will also be able to view all current SmART Pass offers and update your personal settings.
To receive your SmART Pass discount, simply show your pass at the participating business during your in-person purchase.

About Arts in Schools
The Arts in Schools grant helps arts organizations and/or teaching artists in Buncombe County provide arts focused performances, workshops, residencies, and field trips for students attending K-12 public schools in Buncombe County. Priority is given to proposals benefiting Title 1 schools and/or underserved communities, ensuring that students from all demographics receive the benefits of these programs. Grants range from $500-$2,000.
Since 2022, ArtsAVL artist residencies served nearly 750 students at 14 schools, and hired 15 teaching artists. With your support, we can provide these much needed programs to all 50+ of our local public schools!
